Join us for some spooky fun!

What better way to spend Halloween than building Lego ghosts and ghouls? What will you build? A haunted house? Pumpkin? Spiders? Ghost farmer??? Where will your imagination take you?

Come build some amazing Lego characters and houses in individual and team challenges, then pit your wits in the game station - it'll be a packed hour of Lego activities!

And as our Trick or Treat, we're offering one lucky class participant a free place! All ticket holders are invited to guess how many sweets are in our Halloween treat jar - now we're not promising we'll share our treats but you're welcome to guess! Winner to be announced at the start of the class, and ticket price refunded at the class.

There'll also be a prize for best dressed, so be sure to be in your best Halloween dress!

Covid-19 Notice:

In line with the 2-week school circuit breaker, we are moving this to a Zoom online workshop. Dial-in details and materials needed will be emailed to you on Friday evening - please ensure you include your current email address when booking.

To make up for the distance, we're offering a discount for each attendee at our next in-person class, which we'll run as soon as it is safe to do so.

About Lego-Based Therapy:

“The best kind of therapy is when it’s so much fun that the child doesn’t know it’s happening.”

Lego-based Therapy was pioneered by paediatric neuropsychologist Daniel LeGoff, who had witnessed two young clients develop improved social skills while playing with Lego in his waiting area, after each had presented with behavioural disturbances. Lego Therapy is an increasingly popular social skills programme for children and young people with social communication problems such as autism spectrum disorders (ASD), but is also useful for children in a broader context.

Benefits of Lego Therapy:
• improves social and communication skills
• promotes team building
• encourages sharing
• improves confidence
• expresses creativity
• encourages joint attention
• ideal for young people who find it difficult to open up.
